Social Bubbles

Social Bubbles

A social bubble is a small group of people (usually no more than 10) who have all agreed to maintain the same level of caution with people outside the bubble so that you can relax around each other.

Communication and trust are key to establishing a social bubble.

You are only as protected as the least careful person in your bubble!

So talk to your potential bubble-mates about how they go through their days. Would you be comfortable with your exposure to COVID-19 if you did all the things they do? If not, don’t bubble with them!

The COVID CARE model is a how-to guide for what to think about when creating a social bubble and what conversations to have about risk and agreements with the people within your potential bubble.

Whom your bubble buddies interact with and how they interact affects your safety! Ask questions!
