The length of your recovery may vary depending on several factors, however if you had a mild case of COVID-19, generally you may be with others if you meet ALL the following criteria:
- 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
- 10 days since symptoms first appeared and
- Symptoms have improved
Your workplace or school might also require a negative COVID-19 test.

Reminder: The CDC recommends caregivers stay home for at least 14 days after their last close contact with someone who is sick, or 14 days after the person being cared for meets the criteria to end home isolation.
